Wyatt Walker, qb/TE/lb
Class of 2028
Wyatt is training with one goal in mind—competing for the starting quarterback job as a junior.
At 6’4” with a long frame, the physical tools are obvious. But tools alone don’t win jobs.
Wyatt is coming off of a knee injury, and instead of easing his way back, he’s accelerated. Somehow flying up the charts in the weight room. most recently squatting 250 pounds for 8 reps, 3 sets.
That’s not normal.
Especially while balancing another sport. Wyatt is also a baseball standout. Strength training seriously while competing in another sport isn’t for the weak-minded or undisciplined. It takes structure. It takes focus.
He has both.
On the field, we’re refining efficiency. Keeping his release tight and repeatable. Teaching him to use his length to create natural throwing power while learning how to generate force from the ground up.
When those pieces fully connect—base, timing, sequencing, release—the ball won’t just come out clean. It will come out with smoke on it.
What stands out most is how quickly Wyatt processes information. He’s smart. He absorbs coaching fast. He applies corrections immediately.
Well respected by his peers. Dedicated. Coaching. The frame is there. The strength is rising. The processing is sharp.
Now it’s about putting it all together.
