Garrett poulin, qb

Class of 2026

Garrett and I trained together in the summer of 2024 as he prepared to return as Gorham’s starting quarterback. He didn’t come in satisfied. He came in hungry to compete and make an impact.

Over the course of his career as a starter, the team made the playoffs twice in three years. But it wasn’t always smooth. Injuries along the offensive line tested him—mentally and physically. Protection breaks down, and the quarterback feels it first.

Garrett stayed standing. He showed toughness. Leadership. Accountability.

Going into his senior year, he was voted the top returning quarterback in the state in a fan poll. He went on to set Gorham’s all-time passing yard record, earned All-Conference honors, and made the All-Academic team.

That’s not hype. That’s production.

One of the most accomplished quarterbacks to ever play at Gorham.

Off the field, he loves his family. Loves cars. Has options in front of him and is currently weighing his future carefully.

What stands out most about Garrett is this: He understands responsibility.

He carried it for three seasons. And he elevated the standard while doing it.
