Freyja started playing flag football in 2019 when her sister dragged her to play with some of her sister's friends because they desperately needed more female players. Freyja fell in love with the sport and her sister quit shortly after.

Not having ever played football before, the learning curve was extremely steep but Freyja never backs down from a challenge. As a former ice hockey and field hockey athlete, it has become engrained in her to be the best she can be, no matter what she is doing.

Over the years, she has watched countless YouTube videos and sought out guidance from some of the gifted players she was on the field with. She is now a fierce competitor with a fairly high football IQ and she is very proud of this. She reached out to Coach Parks to fine tune her skills and become even more of a force on the field and off.
